Still drowning in tickets? You don't need more agents, you need better structure

Whether your system is slowing you down or no longer scales, clear intake, smart self-service, and simple automation remove unnecessary volume so your team can focus on what truly matters.

Your Zendesk works, but it doesn't feel optimized. Tickets pile up, workflows feel clunky, and you're not sure what to fix first.

Whether you've been using Zendesk for months or years, a health check reveals what's slowing your team down and provides a clear improvement roadmap.

Most Zendesk environments evolve without intention. Features get added. Workflows drift. Settings that made sense two years ago now create friction. A health check gives you an objective assessment of what's working, what's not, and what you should prioritize to improve efficiency and service quality.

Signs your Zendesk needs a health check

Tickets take too long to resolve

Agents spend time searching for information, waiting for assignments, or figuring out workflows instead of solving customer problems.

Workflows and automations feel inconsistent

Some tickets get routed correctly. Others fall through cracks. You're not sure what rules are actually running or what they're supposed to do.

Reporting doesn't answer your questions

You have dashboards, but they don't tell you why performance is declining, which agents need help, or where customers are getting stuck.

Features you paid for aren't being used

You have licenses for AI, reporting, or integrations that nobody knows how to use. You're paying for capability you're not leveraging.

1. Ticket workflows & routing

Review triggers, automations, macros and other rules to identify broken workflows.

2. Agent experience & efficiency

Assess interface layouts, app usage and workspace design. Find what slows agents down and what could speed them up.

3. Integrations & data flow

Audit connected apps, and API usage. Check for broken integrations, unused apps, or missing connections that would improve service delivery.

4. Security, permissions & governance

Review user roles, permissions, data handling, and compliance settings. Ensure proper access controls and identify security risks.

5. License utilization & cost optimization

Analyze feature usage, underutilized add-ons, opportunities to consolidate, or features you should be using but aren't.

The result is not just an audit. It's an actionable improvement plan.

Smarter workflows, faster answers, happier customers.

What you gain from a health check

When you understand what's slowing your team down and have a clear plan to fix it, operational improvements happen faster. You stop guessing and start optimizing with purpose.

The biggest gain is not finding problems. It's knowing what to fix first.

Common questions about health checks

How long does a health check take? Most health checks take 1-2 weeks. Discovery and audit happen over 3-5 days. Analysis and report creation take another 3-5 days. Timeline depends on environment complexity and team availability for meetings.
Will this disrupt our operations? No. Health checks are technical analysis. We review configurations, and conduct meetings, without making changes. Normal support operations continue uninterrupted.
Can you implement the improvements you find? Yes. After delivering the report and roadmap, we can implement through a different service high-priority improvements, train your team on changes, or provide ongoing optimization support. Implementation is optional based on your needs.
How often should we do health checks? Annually for most teams. More frequently if you're growing fast, launching new products, or making significant organizational changes. Health checks are also valuable after mergers or when leadership changes.
What access do you need to conduct a health check? Admin-level Zendesk access to review configurations, automations, and reporting. Optional: analytics data, and integration details.
